by Capnchron, 55 days agoStressed about your gear? Don't be because with this new pre-caticlysm patch you now get emblems of triumphs in any heroic, and 10/25 man raids. Conquests and other lower lvl emblems cannot be traded to triumphs, But you can trade them in for epic gems for your sockets!
The three new dungeons are very exciting. And the new LFG system is superb! You can now access any person looking for the same dungeon/raid as you are in your entire battlegroup!
New tier of armor sets of course. Tier 10 that are dropped in the new dungeons and also from emblems of frost. You can finally kill the evil Lich King Arthas.
All in all the patch doesn't change many classes abilities. This patch is to introduce the new LFG system mainly. And in my opinion the tier 10 armor sets arn't huge improvements in the lower tier 9 so I would use this time to gear up any 80 alts you have while the emblems are ripe for the pickens before caticlysm hits sometime in late 2010.
by Capnchron, 147 days agoIn a nutshell....Farm Heroics, trade in ur emblems to fill missing slots, buy from experienced craftsmen. and farm Reg ToC for a few days. thats it. its not complicated. but u gotta join LFG and get ur own groups together.
by Capnchron, 161 days agoEvery sunday afternoon save your instance lock for Heroic ToC. Also we will be running ToC on regular difficulty to farm epics for anyone who is looking to juice up their arsenal...which we all are
Also, during the weekday mornings is a good time to catch alot of the 80's on. So get together with them and run ToC...or I'll find you.
